Dry malt extract is a concentrated form of malt extract that is used in beermaking. It is made by evaporating the water from wort, which is the liquid that is created when malted grains are mashed. Dry malt extract is a convenient and easy-to-use ingredient for homebrewers, as it does not require any mashing or boiling.

We offer three types of dry malt extract:

  • Light: A pale malt extract that is perfect for making light-colored beers, such as pale ale, blonde ale, and wheat beer. It has a light, sweet flavor with a hint of graininess.
  • Amber: A medium-amber malt extract that is perfect for making amber-colored beers, such as amber ale, brown ale, and porter. It has a malty, bready flavor with a hint of sweetness.
  • Dark: A dark-roasted malt extract that is perfect for making dark-colored beers, such as stout, porter, and brown ale. It has a roasty, chocolatey flavor with a hint of bitterness.

No matter what type of beer you're brewing, we have the dry malt extract you need to make it great. So check out our selection today and start brewing!
