Dry Malt Extract
Dry malt extract is a concentrated form of malt extract that is used in beermaking. It is made by evaporating the water from wort, which is the liquid that is created when malted grains are mashed. Dry malt extract is a convenient and easy-to-use ingredient for homebrewers, as it does not require any mashing or boiling.
We offer three types of dry malt extract:
- Light: A pale malt extract that is perfect for making light-colored beers, such as pale ale, blonde ale, and wheat beer. It has a light, sweet flavor with a hint of graininess.
- Amber: A medium-amber malt extract that is perfect for making amber-colored beers, such as amber ale, brown ale, and porter. It has a malty, bready flavor with a hint of sweetness.
- Dark: A dark-roasted malt extract that is perfect for making dark-colored beers, such as stout, porter, and brown ale. It has a roasty, chocolatey flavor with a hint of bitterness.
No matter what type of beer you're brewing, we have the dry malt extract you need to make it great. So check out our selection today and start brewing!

Yeast is the single most important ingredient in beermaking, it is responsible for converting the sugars in malt into alcohol and carbon dioxide. Different types of yeast produce different flavors and aromas in beer and will also affect the body and mouthfeel of your beer.
We offer a wide variety of brewing yeats for beermaking, including:
- Ale yeast: Ale yeast is used to make a wide variety of beers, from pale ales to stouts. It is characterized by its fruity and spicy flavors. Ale yeasts ferment at warmer temperatures, typically between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Lager yeast: Lager yeast is used to make beers that are typically lighter and crisper than ales. It is characterized by its clean and refreshing flavors. Lager yeasts ferment at cooler temperatures, typically between 45 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cream ale yeast: Cream ale yeast is a hybrid of ale and lager yeasts. It is used to make beers that are smooth and easy to drink. Cream ale yeasts can ferment at a range of temperatures, but they typically ferment at cooler temperatures, similar to lager yeasts
- Wheat ale yeast: Wheat ale yeast is used to make beers that are cloudy and have a bready flavor. Wheat ale yeasts are typically used in conjunction with ale yeasts.
